Port Sunlight Village Trust (PSVT) is an independent non-profit organisation responsible for preserving and promoting Port Sunlight, one of finest surviving examples of an industrial worker village in the world and recently voted as one of the top 3 best villages to visit in the UK in a nationwide poll. Every penny we make is reinvested into making Port Sunlight an inspiring place to live, work and visit for everyone.
As Chief Commercial Officer (Deputy CEO), you will be stepping into a new role that comes at an exciting time for PSVT as we work to realise our ambitions for the village.
You will be responsible for overseeing all PSVT’s commercial activities, including creating, implementing, and iterating a commercial strategy that maximises revenue generation from our portfolio of commercial buildings and all aspects of our visitor destination offer.
You will drive income generation through PSVT’s commercial property portfolio of 21 Grade II listed buildings, with estimated capital investment requirements in excess of £20 million.
You will also drive the development of visitor products, operational and commercial management of the visitor destination, events, and services, corporate overview of PSVT’s fundraising activity, as well as marketing our visitor attractions, public programmes, Port Sunlight itself and communicating effectively with all PSVT stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone with experience of leading complex multifaceted capital building projects, driving commercial performance in a visitor attraction or similar, and increasing the profitability of commercial operations.
As Deputy CEO, you will also act as principal advisor to the Board and the Executive Team on all Commercial Development related matters and ensure the achievement of our business strategy. You will work closely with the CEO to make a significant contribution to the vision, strategy, and delivery plans for PSVT, ensuring that the organisation’s potential is fully exploited.
